While I’ve known San Antonio Water Board Member Martha Goss for years, I’ve learned something new today, that has moved to me to the marrow. That’s because Martha Goss is so humble, she’s never one to promote herself, nor want to be in the spotlight. But when I was on Facebook this morning, I read a tribute piece that was written by someone else and it was so moving, I instantly knew I had to republish it here. So after wiping the tears from my eyes and composing myself, I sat down and put this post together, so that you could read the tribute too. And while I’ve admired Martha Goss tremendously before today, I now want to do everything I can to help promote awareness of her charity, because the work it is doing is so vitally helpful to others, during the most painful time of their lives. So please, take a few minutes to read the below and consider making a donation of any size, to this amazing local non-profit charity.Continue reading ““What Defines Our Character In The End, Is How We’ve Dealt With Our Challenges,” Personifies Martha Goss. Founder Of A Remarkable Charity After Heartbreaking Tragedy, Goss Receives An Unexpected Tribute, Republished Here!”

The Upland School Board gets whacked with an imminent lawsuit demand letter if they don’t stop electing members at-large in citywide elections, just as the council votes to approve a redistricting map with an at-large component and…..The Shawn Betz’s missing person cold case is getting crazy hot publicity too. Well if I die tomorrow, I will feel like at least I’ve seen it all now. My phone, email and text message notifications were going crazy until well after 1AM after the meeting, by residents as shocked and frustrated as I was. What was witnessed during the 1/10/22 council meeting is going to be hard to write about, but I do find the process cathartic. Let me just say right now, this is the most important report of 2022 and possibly the next ten years, hands down. I thank you for caring enough about The City of Upland, to read it.Continue reading “What The Hell Happened At The Redistricting Hearing? A Motion To Keep The Existing Map & Not Redistrict At All! What?!”
Redistricting is a once in a decade event, under normal circumstances. But most of us know Upland just did this and had its first district elections in 2018. The reason being Upland had never redistricted before and was using an at-large voting scheme and was threatened with legal action, for not complying with the 1964 Voting Rights Act and the California Voting Rights Act. The district map Upland adopted to ward off a costly lawsuit, was used to elect Janice Elliott, Rudy Zuniga, former Councilman Ricky Felix in 2018 and then Bill Velto, Shannan Maust and Carlos Garcia in 2020. However, that map used census data from 2010 and now that we have the 2020 census and a population increase of 5,637 residents living predominately in south Upland, the entire map needs to be redrawn, again. So, find out what this means to you and what the options are for changing the way Upland elects its city council, in this report.Continue reading “Redistricting City Council – Public Hearing Mon, Jan 10th @ 7PM! Should Council Go From 4 to 5 Districts & Have A Rotating Mayor? Yes, No, We Think So, Here’s Why……”
There’s lots to catch up in today’s report and having attended the December 13th, Upland City Council Meeting, I have so much to say. The meeting started with the council going into closed session to discuss the never ending Amazon / Bridge Development debacle, so residents were up in arms from the jump. Then, the regular meeting opened with 13-minutes of absolutely gut-wrenching public comments from the family of an 11-year old boy that went missing 34-years ago, from the south-west corner of Foothill and Euclid in 1988. The audience and council were moved to the point of tears and now, the case is getting a fresh look from UPD’s finest. This new council is magnificent and there are no words for how much I LOVE this town and its residents. But first, without further ado, let me say MERRY CHRISTMAS UPLAND!!!!Continue reading “Amazon Appealing Court’s Decision, Supercar Dealership Lawsuits Piling Up & 34-Year Old Cold Case For Missing Upland Youth, Gets Fresh Look From UPD!”
Upland residents just did the seemingly impossible, which is to kick the Amazon Distribution Center Developers squarely in the teeth, in Superior Court no less. I have nothing but mad love and tremendous respect for every resident that fought so hard against this project for years, with every public hearing so packed to capacity, there was no standing room left to occupy. I have never seen residents so up in arms and ready to do whatever it takes, to defend the city that they love. And what that entailed was the forming of a non-profit called Upland Community First and a very lengthy legal battle, which just ended last week. In my opinion, the ruling is a gut punch and negated the entire development agreement approved by the former Upland City Council. Want to know what happens now and what to expect from the Amazon developers, then continue reading this report, by clicking below.Continue reading “Amazon Development Agreement Approved By Prior Council, Is Now Toilet Paper After Judge Cohn’s Ruling!”
Well there’s never a dull moment in Upland and the town’s tagline being, “You Can’t Make This Sh!$ Up,” is now reaching heights we never dreamt were possible! Before we get to the Supercar melodrama unfolding, first, let me officially acknowledge how incredible it is that this new city council has already installed a new city attorney and has sent City Manager Rosemary Hoerning home, in the first quarter of this year. Plus, the new City Treasurer Greg Bradley is also everything he promised to be and more! The town has been course correcting so quickly since the 2020 election, that I took the luxury of a mini-writing hiatus.Continue reading “Upland Supercar Dealership Scandal That’s Shocking The City To Its Core!”
This transformative election with so much on the line, just completely changed the make-up of the city council and showed any spectators that Uplanders are paying very close attention. The results are also an exclamation point on the outgoing Stone regime’s failed policies and the question of whether or not Upland Public Parks are for sale!Continue reading “Upland Election Ushers In New Mayor, New Treasurer & Two New Councilmembers! This is like Christmas Eve the night before the general election, when the residents of Upland are handed a gift wrapped Grand Jury Investigation Report that is so shocking, it’s sure to be the death blow in Debbie Stone’s political career! Inside this edition of The Upland Report, you can read the Grand Jury Report and wave goodbye to Mayor Debbie Stone!Continue reading “Grand Jury Report Is Case Study Why Debbie Stone Needs Defeating & The Timing, Is Like Dodgeball Sized Hail Raining Down As Karma On Election Day!”
OMG! In the last council meeting before residents vote on Nov 3rd, it was no holds barred at the 10/26 council meeting. Plus, in what seemed like a desperate act to soften Debbie Stone’s horrendous voting record, the topic of whether to raise water rates for the third year in a row, towards the goal of a 57% rate hike in a 5-year period, was on the agenda. While we can always be sure that residents will come out swinging is a given but a sitting councilperson, was most unexpected and welcomed. And the topic he choose to devote his 3-minutes of council communication time to, was none other than the founders of the West End Leaders PAC, who is Montclair City Council Candidate Ben Lopez and the infamous Rancho Cucamonga resident, Linda Nani Trawnik. All I can say is they deserved every scathing word in my opinion and everyone should hear what was said about them on live TV!Continue reading “Residents Tired Of Getting Hosed, Attend Last Council Meeting Before The Election, Where Water Rate Hikes Was On Agenda. Plus, Councilmen Bill Velto Addresses PAC Founders Linda Nani Trawnik & Montclair’s Ben Lopez, In Explosive 3-Minute Statement!”
Montclair resident Ben Lopez has been trying to get himself elected to the Montclair City Council since 2014, unsuccessfully. He tried again in 2018, unsuccessfully. Then, he tried to get himself appointed to fill the vacancy left when the beloved Montclair City Councilwoman Trisha Martinez, who had beaten him twice in 2014 & 2018, tragically died while in office in September of 2019. Thankfully, Ben was unsuccessful then too but markedly bitter. Ben’s hoping his luck will finally change some 6-years later after his first 2014 campaign, this November 3rd, 2020. I highly doubt that Ben will be successful, because I believe countless angry Upland residents are going to insert themselves into Ben’s Montclair race! The Upland Report has tried to reach Ben Lopez repeatedly for a comment for this story which involves him, but has been unsuccessful. We’ve emailed Ben Lopez twice and also left him a detailed voice mail message on Wednesday, October 14th, regarding why Lopez’s home address, his notary business address and his personal Montclair City Council Campaign Committee address, is on a political hit-piece attacking Carlos Garcia. The apparent benefactor of those hit-pieces is none other than Gino Filippi, who endorsed Lopez’s Montclair candidacies in 2018 and 2019. We’ve dug into the origin and responsible party for these hit-piece mailers like a deer tick and uncovered every juicy detail. It’s not pretty, but Upland cronyism never is.Continue reading “Why Is Montclair City Council Candidate Ben Lopez, Mass-Mailing Political Hit Pieces About Upland Candidate Carlos Garcia, To Upland Registered Voters? The City of Upland just had their only candidate’s forum on 9/30 but before that, there were two additional forums that were hosted by a bi-partisan group of residents that did a top notch job. All I can say is WOW, WOW, OMG & WOW! Plus, unbelievable, sickening, disgusting, typical, villainous and shameless! With only 35 days until the election with the Mayor’s race, City Treasurer, two new Councilmembers, selling 12% of Memorial Park (Measure Q) and Chief Goodman’s future in Upland on the line, it is paramount new leadership is elected who will end the decades long rampant cronyism and corruption, once and for all. In this report, you’ll be able to read the 4-page utterly explosive legal letter that Goodman’s attorney just delivered to the council on 9/28, which articulates perfectly how unrelenting the established cronyism and corruption really is at the highest levels of city hall. Thank God it’s election time and the remaining bad apples can finally be weeded out by new leadership, who should seize the day and swiftly replace them. Every word in today’s report should be weighed like your town literally depends on it, because indeed it does. So this report is effectively Part 2, being a continuation of Tuesday’s Report from 8/25, about Judge Cohn’s decision regarding the ballot measure language for the sale of 4.63 acres or 12% of Memorial Park, to San Antonio Regional Hospital. Please refer to the 8/25 Report if you happened to have missed it, prior to starting with Part 2. Truth be told, I wasn’t even planning on writing a follow-up report about the specially called session of the city council on 8/26, as I thought the council would just accept the Judge’s changes to their ballot measure language and there’d be very little discussion. I’ve never been so wrong, as it turned out to be in the top 5 of the best council meetings of all time. In fact, everyone who watched it live cannot stop talking about it, as it was so unexpected and absolutely shocking. Why you ask? Well we’ll give you all of those deliciously juicy details, inside this edition of The Upland Report and trust me, you don’t want to miss this!!! Bet you didn’t know Upland lost their posterior in court again on Tuesday, August 25th, with Judge David Cohn siding with residents again by saying, “The city’s argument is misplaced,” did ya? His legal decision is below. Now the city council is holding their second specially called meeting this week on Wednesday, August 26th @ 7:30 PM, to amend their ballot initiative language known as Measure Q, for a third time. That’s because the city is now forced to put the question to the voters on the November 3rd ballot, after Judge Cohn on May 16th, 2018, refused to validate the city’s original intent of selling 12% of the Memorial Park without asking Upland residents jack swat. This now 2.5 year saga is finally going to be decided by you (the voters) on November 3rd. Upland residents just showed all of Southern California what they’re made of in the past seven days. Since learning on Monday, June 22nd, that their beloved Police Chief had been suspended for refusing to go along with rampant political cronyism and an agenda set by a shadow government, Upland residents have come out swinging and succeeded in getting Goodman reinstated. I now dedicate this entire website and every word in it, to you the readers, who are in every sense of the word, Upland’s Avengers! And today my friends, we celebrate our biggest victory yet. Chief Darren Goodman just flipped the script and gave the public a peek, at the beyond hostile conditions he been forced to work under because of Upland’s existing Mayor and the cronyism dripping off her. At this point, The Upland Report and nearly every resident I know, is calling for Mayor Debbie Stone’s resignation! The Upland Report is proud to publish the chief’s legal letter in it’s entirety, so you can make your own judgement call after reading every word of the explosive document. If you are able, please attend the rally to support the chief in front of Upland City Hall located at 406 N Euclid Ave, which starts at 2 PM. After watching the Upland City Council Meeting on 6/22, we still know nothing more about why Police Chief Darren Goodman, was placed on administrative leave by City Manager Rosemary Hoerning. The public has taken to social media to plead for the Chief’s reinstatement and to await some official written statement from the city, to explain why this drastic action was taken. Unfortunately, the City Manager said nothing whatsoever during the council meeting to explain her mysterious actions! But please don’t think the 6/22 council meeting was boring because after a slow start, the rest of the meeting was chock full of goodies you don’t want to miss! Find out why the city mailing a letter from Mayor Debbie Stone to Upland residents, violated the Political Reform Act and learn every detail of the city’s internal investigation, including the 7 City Officials involved in the scandal. Read on to see why Stone only wants YES MEN on the planning commission and which P.h.D. Stone just publicly chastised, for exercising their 1st Amendment right by writing a letter, which was published in the Sentinel. That and so much more is in today’s smoking hot Upland Report. The disappointment regarding what four members of the Upland City Council did on Wednesday, April 1st, is palpable, with the sole exception of Councilwoman Janice Elliott. The 4 to 1 vote in favor of approving the Amazon 50-Acre Logistics Terminal has resulted in a literal flood of Upland residents taking to social media to express their disgust ever since. Residents are comparing what they witnessed as a horror film resembling “Invasion of the Body Snatchers!” Meaning the vast majority of Upland residents are publicly expressing the fact that they can’t believe they actually elected people who are now voting like the doppelganger of the incumbent they unseated in November of 2018!!! The January 9th Joint Workshop Meeting at Upland City Hall was absolutely historic. It was packed to standing room only and many residents waiting an hour to finally sit down. Upland residents came out swinging and with so many experts in various fields living in this great city, Bridge Development / Amazon received plural black eyes, as did the City of Upland. But what happened during a 5 minute intermission, was the real show. As unbeknownst to residents in attendance, a hot mic captured a private conversation between City Attorney Steven Flower and Upland’s Community Development Director Robert Dalquest, which was inadvertently broadcast over live cable television to everyone who was watching the meeting at home. The meeting came to an abrupt end for most, when at about the 1 hour and 20 minute mark, a mob of angry residents stormed out in an mass show of disgust, after hearing enough bull to choke out Godzilla. The Upland Planning Commission is schedule to VOTE on the site plan below for the 50-acre Amazon Logistical Terminal, plus the project’s Development Agreement and its “shoddy” Environmental Report on February 12th at 406 N. Euclid Ave at 6:30 PM. You can read every juicy detail about the 1/9 workshop and get all the breaking news inside this edition of The Upland Report.

I truly cannot believe this is still coming at us like an unstoppable freight train. The question of whether we can still stop this is becoming very disheartening. I am struggling to even understand, how in the hell things have gotten this bad. How has this developer gotten 3 public chances to pitch this madness to our community, where the Upland Planning Commission will be voting to approve this madness in February? The last public workshop is before the vote is scheduled for Thursday, January 9th at 6:00 PM at City Hall and the community opposition needs to be stronger than ever. Every resident in attendance will be allowed to speak for 3 minutes to our entire city council and our planning commissioners, in front of the developer. Please show up at 460 N Euclid Ave on 1/9/20 at 6:00 PM, to help save the city that we love. Please read about the other upcoming events in this Upland Report, where you can join the fight against the looming Amazon Distribution Center on Foothill / Benson & Central. So what do we know after witnessing the joint workshop meeting on Monday, October 21st, 2019 between the city’s planning commissioners and council members, who all heard a presentation given by a developer intent on building a 50 acre logistical center in the middle of Upland? We know an eCommerce company who is on Fortune’s Top 10 List, will be the tenant but the developer refused to provide the tenant’s name. The developer claimed the tenant needed to be in the Distribution Center by August of 2020, in order to make deliveries for the holiday season in 2020. Bridge Development Partners is who is hoping to build the Distribution Center and while Bridge refused to disclose who their tenant was, after listening to every word they said, we are ready to make an incredibly good guess and detail every reason why. So, welcome to this Upland Report on the who, what, where, when and why will be occupying this massive facility encompassing 50 acres and 1,000,000 sq ft. of concrete and major parking lots.
What you need to know: This is workshop # 2 and the second pitch by Bridge Development Group to push their intense desire to build a Distribution Center off of Foothill & Benson. The first workshop in June went like pure hell for them, when their plan was to build a ONE MILLION SQUARE FOOT monstrosity. Now Bridge Development is back with a scaled down version of this insanity on 51.33 acres, where they seek to break ground the first quarter of 2020. The featured image at the top of the article, is what Bridge did to the Fontana landscape so please show up, speak up and help your friends and neighbors protect the residential neighborhoods in Districts 1 and 3 on Monday night, October 21st starting at 6:30 PM at 406 N Euclid Ave in Downtown Upland. It was an amazing display of public muscle and might, as residents from every political party, raced home from work and beat rush hour traffic, to get to Upland City Hall by 6PM to lay into City Attorney James Markman. Everyone of those residents made incredible points about the multiple legal nightmares our city attorney has allowed to happen in Upland since he become our city attorney two short years ago. Even Markman in a desperate act to save himself, blamed our former city council for his actions! If that wasn’t spicy enough, that was followed by an agenda item where our city employees were finally up to get a raise after nearly 12 years without a cost of living increase, where Mayor Stone went bonkers and showed how much disdain she actually has for UPD. She could win an award for being the most unprofessional head of any city council, in America, bar none. She is an outrage and a public embarrassment every time she opens her mouth. Mayor Stone’s egregious conduct started 20 minutes into the meeting when she violated the (ADA) American Disability Act, by telling a resident with a speech disability that she would no longer allow another resident to read her public statements for her to our council, as the city would then have to allow anyone else to do that.” Later on in the meeting, Stone and Ricky Felix went head-to-head which was followed by Stone next trying to cut off the head of Upland’s Police Officers Management Association, twice during his public comments. All of that and more, is inside this smoking hot edition of The Upland Report!

The upcoming Upland City Council Meeting Agenda for Monday, October 14th, is stuffed with so many bombshells, it is like an Upland earthquake. The main event is City Attorney James Markman, may finally be getting the boot by our new city council members, after testing him out for the past 11 months. I will be making the case for his immediate termination in this Upland Report. In addition to that, our council will be discussing and getting briefed on multiple lawsuits filed by UPD’s Former Highest Ranking Police Captain Anthony Yoakum, plus, UPD’s Former Senior Sergeant Marc Simpson. I hope our new council can settle this travesty, after what our former city council allowed to happen to these heroes, as it was truly one of the most shameful periods in Upland’s recent history. Last but never least, will Upland’s employees finally be getting a contract, a cost of living increase and some long overdue respect, after nearly 12 years without JACK-SQUAT? Tune in Monday on night and watch what happens live at Upland City Hall, HERE!

The council meeting on August 12th, was the best thing since sliced bread! This new council has courage and guts in spades! Let me rephrase that, at least four of them do and I do not envy any of them! This meeting was hard work with some friendships on the line, legacy appointments being tested and examined and oh so much more. At the heart of this meeting were two very important issues for our city. The 1st, who will be running our animal shelter and the 2nd, who will be on our planning commission. So much was at stake for so many and the drama was palpable. The tension at times, you could cut with a knife. It was the best of times and the worst of times, all at the same time. Tears were shed by some and then moments later, others received standing ovation. All in all, we got to see exactly what this new city council is made of and who, is willing to put their money where their mouth is. It was a night that will be hard to forget and I think the witnesses, will remember it forever.

As we approach the next Upland City Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 28th, which starts at 7:00 PM at 406 N Euclid Ave in Downtown, Upland, there is so much you need to know. If you have any interest in keeping 5G cellphone antennas from being installed on every street light in your neighborhood and only 20 feet from your bedroom windows, please keep reading. In fact, reading may no longer be good enough because at this next Upland City Council Meeting on 5/28, if the residents of Upland don’t show up and demand that our Upland City Council Members protect us, then our unscrupulous city attorney is going to talk them into signing a new law that gives away every single bit of power they have and that we have, to protect ourselves and our private property rights. Also in this report, if you think millionaires should NOT be awarded free HUD Grant Money by the City of Upland, which is earmarked for slum elimination in Downtown Upland, which is used to renovate properties for FREE, then keep reading. As the NEW Upland City Council just agreed with you and did some truly amazing things about it. The fact is, 70% of all HUD Grant Money that Upland receives is earmarked to assist low income individuals, as well as, earmarked to create job opportunities, for low income individuals. On March 26, 2018, our insane former city council voted three to one, to sell 4.63 acres of Memorial Park to San Antonio Hospital for $4,200,000.00. Those voting in favor were Mayor Debbie Stone, Mayor Pro Tem Carol Timm and Councilmen Gino Filippi. Opposing the sale was Councilmember Janice Elliott. Councilmen Sid Robinson was on vacation and did NOT vote but he also supported the sale of 12% of Memorial Park. Since then on November 6th, 2018, both Carol Timm and Gino Filippi lost their re-election bids and were replaced on city council by Rudy Zuniga and Ricky Felix. Sid Robinson had been appointed to city council after Janice Elliott beat him in the 2016 election. Sid had a two year appointment which expired at the end of 2018 and he did NOT run for city council in 2018. So Sid walked off the dais on December 10th, 2018, along with Carol Timm and Gino Filippi but NOT before, crowning Jeanette Vagnozzi’s as Upland’s next failed City Manager! Will This Lead To Upland & The Hospital Terminating Their Existing Purchase Agreement?”
Our City Manager Jeannette Vagnozzi has failed to protect and inform the public! Vagnozzi has failed to protect Upland’s private and public property rights. Vagnozzi has failed to protect Upland home-owners. Vagnozzi has failed to protect Upland tax-payers! Vagnozzi has failed to protect Upland’s right-of-ways! Vanozzi failed to inform our city council members and our planning commissioners, that all 5G light-pole and utility-pole cellphone antenna permitting, is being done through our Public Works Department, ONLY! THAT MEANS NO PUBLIC HEARINGS! NO PUBLIC NOTIFICATION! NO DUE PROCESS! NO PLANNING BOARD APPROVAL! NO REQUIRED ZONING SET-BACKS! NO CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT! NO TRANSPARENCY AND ALLOWS CELLPHONE ANTENNAS TO BE INSTALLED 25 FEET AWAY FROM RESIDENTIAL HOMES, IN EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD IN UPLAND! Why is she still gainfully employed here making $311,000 in total annual compensation from Upland’s tax-payers, so she can go home and spend it in La Verne! This report it so vitally important as our city’s day-to-day operations are being affected. Presidents of (3) Upland Employee Unions are publicly declaring that Upland’s City Manager is allegedly committing offenses which include; harassment, serial bullying, bribery, retaliation, violating and breaking labor laws, creating a hostile work environment, intimidating employees, allowing employees to be physically battered at work, as well as, allegedly trying to suppress evidence and witness testimony.

-The answer could very well be yes!!!!! Former Councilmen Glenn Bozar explains in his letter to the editor that, “The property owners of San Antonio Heights and Upland have won a major victory with Judge Cohn’s Statement of Decision regarding the County’s illegal annexation scheme. The Judge stated, “Thus, the geographic expansion of the service zones within the District by San Bernardino LAFCO was simply beyond its statutory authority. By doing so, San Bernardino committed a prejudicial abuse of its discretion. He further states, “That aspect of the annexation is therefore void, and the tax was improperly imposed on taxpayers within the newly annexed territory….the tax must be enjoined.” Read how the City of Upland and SB County violated property owners their State Constitutional RIGHT TO VOTE ON TAXES, in this special edition Letter To Editor, smoking hot Upland Report.

Well here we go again everybody, another Upland City Manager was hauled into a closed session on the morning on March 4th, between 7:30 and 8:30 am for an “employee evaluation.” Three Union Presidents attended that meeting to speak about a city manager who they allege is guilty of committing these offenses which include; harassment, serial bullying, bribery, retaliation, violating and breaking labor laws, creating a hostile work environment, intimidating employees, allowing employees to be physically battered at work and then claim, Vagnozzi tried to suppress evidence and witness testimony. Let me try to make this more clear, BOTH UPD UNIONS HAVE VOTED 100% NO CONFIDENCE IN OUR CITY MANAGER! Also in this report are the shocking events which took place during the Upland City Council Meeting on February 25th, which were so bizarre I haven’t even wanted to think about them, let alone write about them! The videos speak for themselves and if you NEVER read another Upland Report ever again, I beg you to please just read this one.

UPDATE: ISSUE TABLED AGAIN UNTIL MARCH 27TH & FULL UPDATE AT TOP OF PAGE. If you own or rent a home anywhere in North Upland, please show up and protest the construction of a 60′ tall, new 5G cellphone tower installation, to be built inside McCarthy Park. At 60′ feet tall, it will tower over the existing treetops and will be the highest thing seen from North Upland, second only to Mt. Baldy! McCarthy Park is on the corner of San Antonio and 20th Street and surrounding it, are nothing but residential neighborhoods on all sides. This huge new 5G tower and all 5G tech, will use millimeter waves instead of microwaves. Millimeter waves are biologically active and they interactive directly with human skin, specifically our sweat glands. The safety of millimeter waves is completely untested, except by our military, who use millimeter waves in electromagnetic weapons because they interact with human skin and can make someone feel, like they are on fire! Learn what you can do, to STOP the City of Upland’s Planning Commission, from allowing a huge 5 story tall, 5G cellphone tower, from being built inside a children’s playground and directly next to, a sprawling residential region!

Is the Upland Crony Cartel planning a coup d’état at the very first Council Meeting, when our three new reformers are sworn into Office on December 10th? You can bet your backside and the farm, yes they absolutely are. Do any of us know how our 3 reformers will vote to fill the vacancy on City Council on Dec 10th? The answer is no we absolutely don’t. Because upon closer inspection, I am now questioning if we made assumptions about one of them, when we really know next to nothing about them. I am also watching the establishment cronies fail to concede defeat after losing in a shocking citywide mandate to end cronyism and corruption in the City of Upland. If you haven’t heard the words coup d’état before which is pronounced /ˌko͞o dāˈtä/ see link, it means a sudden seizure of government power. Which is exactly what I now think we all could be walking into, a Crony Coup d’état on December 10th. Welcome to what may be the most IMPORTANT Upland Report of the year. Continue reading “Will A New Council Member, Vote With Debbie Stone On 12/10 & Allow A Coup d’état (Sudden Seizure Of Gov’t Power), Allowing The Cronies To Remain The Voting Majority On CorrUpland City Council? YES!?!”
All of District 3 is experiencing Christmas in October! I know a grown man who said he went to his mail box and was so happy, he felt like a little kid who just got a birthday check from his grandma. And what is making everyone so happy, it’s a full color, full page, double sided masterpieces taking Gino Filippi to task finally! And anything that Gino has done, Carol Timm has done, as has Debbie Stone. If everyone reading this will forward this to someone else in Upland, Gino Filippi will be defeated on Nov 6th! Let’s make sure that happens and let’s keep it going so it spreads into District 4, so South Upland finally has a chance to recover. As parts of South Upland look like a 3rd world country and a resident just make a video of an alleyway, where your first guess was it was filmed in Tijuana.
Is the City of CorrUpland’s public legal notices the only thing keeping the Daily Bulletin alive? Why is the City of CorrUpland getting rose colored glasses treatment from the Daily Bulletin? Is it because their former Editor is now Upland’s Paid Social Media Monitor making $3,500 every month from home, to monitor all of us daily on Upland’s insane social media sites? Because this city’s corruption is so SYSTEMICALLY FAR REACHING, I PRAY THE FBI COMES BACK TO CITY HALL and arrests more pilfering public employees, paid city crony consultants and shakes down a few of our elected official who are so complacent, they look the other way as long as the PAC’s are happy and they get to go to another rubber chicken dinner. Wouldn’t it be great if the FBI came back and also brought the State to do a forensic audit? Hell, if Janice Elliott could find $10,000,000 in one weekend with nothing more than a staff report about water rates increasing by another 57%, imagine what a professional forensic auditing team could find in a week!
This is the report where we will introduce you to the candidates running for CorrUpland City Council in Districts 2, 3 & 4. We will catch you up on all the ugliness you’ve missed to date, as the cronies are in their death throes of an outgoing regime and as a result, they are acting absolutely desperate and despicable! We have included the videos from the Candidates Forum which took place on October 2nd and there is so much more, that you’ll need to take 2 aspirin and call all your friends in the morning and make sure that they too, have seen today’s CorrUpland Report! Continue reading “Meet Your 2018 City Council Candidates, Hear The Good, The Bad, The Ugly & See The Videos!”
Well at this point, watching an Upland City Council Meeting is more like watching a sitcom, than an informative and fact finding municipal meeting. There were so many residents who spoke to our city council about their MAJOR and LEGITIMATE concerns, that the meeting went from super serious to gut busting funny and this was live theater at it’s very best. The residents of the Colonies stole the show and listening to what they had to say, would make any resident dealing with those issues, fighting mad. And the praises of our new Police Chief Darren Goodman, were so heartwarming and sincere, it nearly brought me to tears AGAIN AND THAT NEVER HAPPENS! And if you want to know why both Mayor Stone and Mayor Pro Tem Timm had to recuse themselves on the same agenda item, causing CorrUpland to have no acting Mayor at all, please come on inside where we’ll have a good laugh and cry together and afterwards, a big group hug and sing Kumbaya!
What just happened? On Thursday 9/20 at 6 PM, the Upland City Council Agenda was published and shock and awe was heard citywide! Lewis has withdrawn all plans to build 675 units inside two parkland tracts and the Public Hearing for Monday 9/24 has been cancelled! And even more shocking than that, is a closed session item where our city council will go into closed session at 6 PM on Monday night, to appoint a new Upland City Manager! WHAT???? Continue reading “WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY UPLAND FRIENDS, AS LEWIS WITHDRAWS PLANS TO BUILD 675 HOMES IN TWO PARKLAND TRACTS & WHY IS BILL MANIS, BEING SHOWN THE DOOR?”
The last 2 months in CorrUpland has been so surreal, it’s been virtually impossible to keep up with Upland’s crony ruling class and their corruption. I have literally seen mountains moved so that a local developer could perform due-diligence while contemplating building 650 high density residential housing units, inside two tracts zoned as public parkland. I have seen epic social media bullying which was already so insanely bad, go to another level which may even be criminal, in my opinion. And instead of Upland being the City of Gracious living, the residents have more accurately renamed our fledgling town on Upland Social Media to Dumpland or CorrUpland, take your pick. And there has been so much drama, carnage and chaos unfolding on a daily basis, that I’ll do my very best to retell a tale with so much intrigue and mystery, I should be charging admission to the Worst Show On Earth!!!! So hurry up inside folks, you don’t want to miss a thing, including the Sentinel’s explosive article regarding the issues raised in this report!
The City of Upland is totally off the rails! At the June 25th City Council Meeting, our City Attorney James Markmen lost control of himself and become verbally combative with Councilwoman Janice Elliott yet again. Unfortunately for him, Elliott showed she will no longer take his abuse, so he better learn to check himself! Councilmen Sid Robinson told the free world he is NOT running in 2018 and District 1, is now totally out of luck for no reason! Thanks Sid, couldn’t you have said that on 10/23/17 when you voted for an election schedule scheme, which allowed you to run in 2018, verses you having to wait 2 years to run again, which resulted in 18,050 Upland residents having NO representation at all, on Upland’s City Council?

Upland City Clerk, Jeannette A. Vagnozzi, who also uses the title of Upland Deputy City Manager, has REFUSED to READ into the RECORD, AT LEAST 3 PUBLIC COMMENT LETTERS to our UPLAND CITY COUNCIL. Those hearings were the Interim City Manager’s $108K windfall of cash, as now a consultant for the city on 12/11 & the Interim Police Chief Appointment on 11/6 & 10/23 Cell Tower at San Antonio Children’s Park! See those LETTERS, those EMAILS and the PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST filed, to get the VIDEOS of THOSE HEARINGS!
Yep! On 10/23 the VOTE was 5-0 and Our City Clerk, Jeanette A. Vagnozzi, who is also Our Deputy City Manager, during the Public Hearing, REFUSED TO READ OUR COMMENT LETTER OBJECTING! And that discriminatory act, has been reported to the Department of Justice, in an American Disability Act Compliant, against the City of Upland. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Read the COMMENT LETTER, see the VIDEO, read the EMAILS and SIGN THE PETITION! BECAUSE WE’RE MAD AS HELL & WE’RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!
